The Adventures of Bixby and Gibbs page 1

All rights reserved to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. I have been given permission by their Marketing Director Pam Gilbert to post a couple of my illustrations online so I may share with my followers. Official press release and book signing with the author and I is set for December 11th. 

Bixby (yellow lab- on right) and Gibbs (golden retriever- sleeping) are two lobby dogs who are trained therapy companions and act as ambassadors to guests who arrive at the resort. The story is about the two of them 'escaping' the lobby for a short time so they can explore the grounds and have a bit of fun before returning to their duty. In the illustration above Bixby is trying to convince Gibbs to join him outside.

and see what we find.
There's sure to be animals
and treasures of all kinds.

At the Fairmont, you know,
there is lots we can do.
We can sniff, we can fetch
and play hide-and-seek too."
