Painted this over a month ago for the Steampunk Village booth at Arizona's Phoenix Comic Convention last May and until now I had completely forgotten/too lazy to scan it. Well here it is in all its digitally scanned glory. Hope you guys like it.

I actually painted this one for fun as practice for painting this: [link] for the same convention.

Still in a bit of an artfunk right now, but I think that I'm slowly starting to get out of it! Did a few sketches today, which is more than I can say for the past month. >.>

nice water color. The dark shades of the mountains contrast well with the lighter blues in that the zeppelin doesn't overpower the piece.

One could also argue that the mountains are too dark and happen to be in that particular place where it is hard to focus on the subject, but that argument should be ignored, in that the mountains in the background also make the subject matter stand out.

Depends on the mountains really. I've seen mountains that dark before when I traveled to Germany, they were a sight to see with all that dark pine. Thanks for your comment. :)
